Handmade Fused Glass Sail Ship in a Stormy Northern Sea | Nautical Glass Art

Handmade Fused Glass Nautical Art – Sail Ship in a Stormy Northern Sea 🌊

This unique handmade fused glass panel captures the drama and mystery of a sailing ship navigating the stormy waters of the northern sea. Deep shades of blue, swirling waves, dramatic clouds, and a shimmering sailing ship create an atmospheric nautical glass art piece inspired by the power and beauty of the sea.

The glass panel was carefully handcrafted using fused glass techniques, with layers of rich blue glass creating depth, movement, and the feeling of turbulent ocean water. A handmade wooden stand completes the piece, giving this sea-inspired artwork a warm natural contrast.

This particular piece was made as a special gift and is not for sale, but I wanted to share it as an example of my handmade fused glass work and nautical-themed art 💙

Bring the Beach Home: Handmade Fused Glass Art Inspired by Coastal Living

There’s something timeless about the sound of waves and the colors of the shoreline, soft blues, golden sands, and the shimmer of sunlight on water. My latest fused glass beach panel was created to capture that peaceful, vacation-by-the-sea feeling and bring it into your home.

Each piece is handmade with fused glass, layered and kiln-fired to form a vivid beach scene featuring gentle ocean waves, a wooden boat, seashells, and starfish. Mounted on a solid wooden base, it blends natural textures with coastal charm, making it the perfect statement for beach house decor, nautical interior design, or any space that needs a touch of ocean calm.

If you love coastal home decor or you’re searching for a unique handmade gift for ocean lovers, this panel brings the spirit of seaside living right into your space, no sand required❤️

Handmade fused glass Art panel Nautical theme inspired by cabin life and fishing

A special gift for my husband’s best friend - a huge boat enthusiast who spends countless peaceful hours fishing at his cabin 🛥️🌊

This fused glass panel was inspired by his love for the water, his cherished boat, and those quiet, reflective moments on the lake. A little piece of serenity captured in glass — I hope it brings back memories of blue skies and gentle waves ❤️

The matching wooden stand was made by my hubby 🥰

Return of the Vikings - weekly challenge

This week’s theme was "Vikings with a hint of upcycling" picked by VKnO. I’ve wanted to try making nature collages for quiet a while now and thought that this would be a perfect opportunity to do so. I decided to "upcycle" two of my Nature shots and combine them with some digital drawing which resulted in - "Return of the Vikings". I still have tons to learn about collaging but I think it came up rather believable for a newbie :) or what do you think?

This photo was used for the sky. I took this picture last summer, up in the Northern Sweden, very close to the Norwegian border.

This photo were used for the sea. It was taken on one of our vacations in Egypt :) I only had pictures of the northern sea when it is stormy and I wanted on this collage for a weather to be relatively calm. So I chose this shot...

The rest of the details such as sun, mountains and boat were digitally drawn in Photoshop. It took me several days to do that (probably because I'm a newbie) but I'm rather pleased with the results... for now :)
