One of my most favorite semiprecious gemstones is Golden Rutilated Quartz. I love how simplicity of Quartz combines with extravagance of gold. The golden rutiles are not the actual gold but a mineral Rutile (composed of Titanium dioxide often with iron, occasionally with some minor niobium or tantalum) but nevertheless they look like real gold needles. I purchase a lot of Golden Rutilated Quartz for my jewelry and I have different sizes and shapes in my studio and off course the best and most unusual ones I use for my solid gold jewelry *Luxury collection*.
So here is my latest beauty - Golden Rutilated Quartz necklace in 14K solid gold. It is made of one huge Golden Rutilated Quartz smooth briolette drop 18x12 mm and faceted Rock Crystal Clear Quartz round bead.
