Cyanobacteria necklace for women Microbiology jewelry Blue green algae

Introducing new additions to my Science jewelry collection! This time made of fused glass (by me obviously 🙄) and a bit of sterling silver. The first one is inspired by Cyanobacteria filaments (Blue green algae). Back in 2010 I've already made a sterling silver/green Agate gems necklace inspired by Cyanobacteria (what can I say I love how they look under the microscope 🥰) but this time it is made of glass, my new passion!

Fused glass art - my first try at making dichroic glass and fused glass cabochons

Learning new skills by trying out glass fusing for the first time 🥰 4 of the fused glass cabochons have different dichroic glass pieces and the lime green and turquoise blue one is made entirely of transparent glass. I think I can see some silver jewelry pieces with them in the future. Here are the finished cabs.

Ituralde - Apatite Peridot earrings in sterling silver. Handmade boho chic jewelry by Arctida

I just wanted to show you my latest custom order. The customer wanted her own version of my *Ituralde* earrings, the same color palette but slightly different design so what they won't be an exact copy. She gave me completely free hands and here is what I came up with :)

The new *Ituralde* features lime green Peridots and 2 shades of teal and turquoise blue Apatites wire wrapped in sterling silver.

Lenae - Contemporary style organic Peridot hoops earrings in solid copper. Handforged Jewelry by Arctida

This week EST challenge's theme was "Pumpkin and other autumn fruits" hosted by dinafragola.

As I’m still hooked up on my latest ruffled hoop design (Nivi and Electra earrings) I thought I'll try to make one pair in Autumnal fruits, harvest inspired colors. So here is my new pair of hoops: Lenae - Lime Peridot solid copper hoops earrings.

Do you want to make a pair of hoops like this your self? Here is my tutorial for Gemstone Hoops earrings!

Maja - Art Nouveau Antiqued sterling silver earrings - Apatite, Peridot, Prasiolite and sky blue Topaz - "Spring" challenge

Last week’s theme was - Spring, picked by Palepink.

So here is my vision of Spring in Apatite, Peridot, Prasiolite, sky blue Topaz and Silver - Maja earrings. The name comes from Maja, who is the Oscan Earth-Goddess, and an ancient Roman Goddess of springtime, warmth, and increase. She causes the plants to grow through Her gentle heat, and the month of May is probably named for Her.
