One-of-a-Kind Fused Glass Candle Cover - Handmade Kiln-Fired Sculptural Glass Art

This one-of-a-kind fused glass candle cover was created through an intuitive kiln-forming process, where heat and gravity shape molten glass into organic, flowing layers. Made from hand-cut sheets of amber, gold, and deep red glass, the piece was kiln-fired to achieve its sculptural drape and glossy finish.

Designed to soften and diffuse candlelight, this handmade glass candle holder transforms flame into a warm, atmospheric glow. The layered glass creates depth and movement, making it both functional and a contemporary art object.

Unlike production work, this sculptural glass piece will not be recreated. It represents a singular moment in my studio practice - an exploration of material, temperature, and restraint. Some works are made to be released; others are made to remain part of the artist’s own collection 💗

For those interested in fused glass techniques, kiln-fired processes, and contemporary glass art, this piece reflects the beauty of allowing the material to lead the outcome.

EST Photo Ispiration weekly challenge

For this week’s challenge our host *Antigoni* (the winner of the last week’s challenge) has decided to give us an ”EST Photo Ispiration Challenge”. She picked out this gorgeous picture and gave us free hands to get inspired by it…

I’ve got influenced by the candle in the middle of the table. It drew my attention immediately and I couldn’t take my eyes of it. Then I’ve realized that I’ve seen similar light somewhere… on my recent picture of a custom order that I’ve made with gorgeous Amber focal. Ta-da... the next Mandala was born :)
