It's been a while since I've shared something new made of wool and silk here :)

Here is one of my latest handmade nuno felted wool and silk scarf in earthy red orange color palette. It's made with soft merino wool, silk fabric and luxurious silk fibers, carefully felted together to create a beautiful and unique fabric. The addition of silk fibers gives the scarf a beautiful sheen and texture, while also making it lightweight and comfortable to wear. I also added some extra silk fibers for decoration, giving the scarf a unique and personalized touch. Each scarf I make is a one-of-a-kind creation, with subtle variations in texture and color. Nuno felted sweater Merino wool and Silk pullover Emerald green Wearable Art clothing

My first felted sweater. I’ve finished it summer 2019, I photographed it summer 2020 and only now post-processed the pictures! I'm that fast, I know! 😝

I’ve made several sweaters since then but this one is still my most favorite one because of the emerald green color! 🥰

A bit of production info: the sweater is made with felted soft superfine merino wool (18 micron) and delicate silk gauze combined together using the wet Nuno felting technique, without any seams (no sewing only felting). The decor is lots and lots of silk and viscose fibers and a bit of embroidery.

Nuno felted jacket Merino wool and Silk cardigan Forest green Wearable Art clothing

Today I'll share with you my first nuno felted jacket. The jacket is made with felted soft superfine merino wool (18 micron) and delicate silk gauze combined together using the wet Nuno felting technique. The decor is silk and viscose fibers, wool yarn, hand embroidery and the enameled buttons are handmade by me as well 😊

Handmade felted wool socks Red cashmere merino wool slipper socks

Here is another first try for me. A pair of felted socks to keep my feet toasty and warm on cold nights at our cabin. They look like slippers but only because they were shaped around my feet. Made of pure Cashmere wool on the inside and soft Merino wool (16 mic) on the outside they are extremely soft and fluffy 🥰 and they look so cute on my feet! Every time I wear them I feel like Dorothy in her Ruby slippers 😁

A birthday present that I’ve made for a very special lady 😊 this felted scarf is made of 18 mic merino wool and decorated with silk and viscose fibers using eco friendly wet felting technique. It is two sided, one is bit muted in color, emerald green with teal undertones and the other one is brighter in color and more shiny in texture.

Merino wool scarf and hat set for girls Turquoise felt scarf and beanie

It’s been a while since I posted something… 2020 and all the craziness that came with it has taken its toll but it is time to come out of my hiding and start blogging again :)

I've had a lot of time to produce new jewelry pieces and new hand felted creations during the past year so here is the first one, a hand dyed and hand felted scarf and beanie set that I've made for my little princess.

The set is handmade of merino wool + silk and decorated with different silk and bamboo fibers using wet felting technique.The pom pom was upcycled from her previous favorite beanie.

Nuno felt My first piece of clothing - Nuno felted top merino wool and silk in Sky blue and Mint green

As some of you already know I’ve started making handmade felt clothing and accessories in December 2018 and I’ve finally had a chance to photograph my first piece of clothing on a model. I’ve finished this summer top in March but only now had the time to take pictures. The top is made of finest 16 microns Merino wool and lots and lots of silk. The decor is silk, viscose and bamboo fibers and wool yarn.

Fingerless gloves Felted wool mittens Wrist warmers Natural plant dyed Merino wool and Silk

My little sis wanted a pair of fingerless mittens to match her new boots and I thought it would be a fun project to try and made them for her 😊 The mittens are wet felted and made of soft merino wool with Tussah silk and natural viscose fibers decor. The wool was white in color from the start and I dyed the mittens with Henna plant to match the boots in color 🤓

Felted wool slippers for children - My first try at making shoes!

I love working with wool, love the versatility and all the endless possibilities what it offers. You can make the softest baby clothing and blankets with it but at the same time one can make shoes, carpets and even housing (Yurt). So here I thought I’ll show you My first try at making shoes 😊 Felted slippers for my son made of Merino wool and for the soles I've recycled/upcycled my old leather jacket.

My first felted scarf - Black and white merino wool scarf for men

Ta-da! My first felted scarf is here 😊 I made it for my hubby so that he can wear a fancy wool scarf with his fancy coat. The scarf is made of the softest black super fine merino wool (16,5 micron) with silk and viscose fibers for décor. It is two sided, one is solid black and one side is patterned.

Wet felting my first felted creation - Black and White Merino wool phone case.

I’ve been a huge fan of felting and particularly Nuno felting for over 10 years now so last month I’ve decided it was finally time to learn how to do it! I’ve bought a series of educational videos from a talented felt designer @lenabaymut_felt and my felting journey has begun... so far I’ve been making test pieces with different techniques but I thought I will show you my first “real” felt creation. I needed a new iPhone case for my phone so it was a perfect opportunity to try and felt it 😊 it’s made of black merino wool, decorated with white viscose fibers and on the back I’ve made a pocket for credit cards and driving license.
